Nathan has been an invaluable member of the team here at Bright Ascension. His ability to think, and work, independently has been essential. He showcased a keen mind in terms of problem solving, and was well versed in being able to breakdown programming terminology and methods of practice so non-technical team members could understand what was needed for the task at hand. Outside of his respected programming abilities, which were focused towards gameplay during our working together, Skully also demonstrated that he was definitely a team player and happy to work the extra mile to help the team out. He also brought his own brand of witty humour to the team that was always welcomed, but knew when to be serious and work hard. On top of all this, he showcased excellent people skills with the public while we were showcasing our game at Dare Indie Fest, something that is rare in a programmer! |

Skully has an excellent ability to communicate the designers vision into a functioning code base, his code is always written to a high standard and in a modular fashion, enabling him to easily and quickly make modifications to meet the rest of the teams requirements. Skully is always professional about his work, once tasks have been distributed amongst the team, Skully can always be counted on to work individually to a high standard and ensure the task is met to the fullest without any need for supervision. Skully takes it upon himself to ensure that his work will integrate fully and intuitively with the rest of the teams, he has exceptional communication skills and ensures that the precise amount of planning is put in place before executing his work. |

A good description of [Skully] as an employee would have to include the following, [he] integrated well into a large team without making [him]self either invisible or too noticeable, this in itself is a skill, [he wasn't] intimidated by speaking to "the boss" and seemed more than willing to carry out tasks that were asked of [him], at all times [he was] polite and conscientious, and displayed a good work ethic to myself [his] colleagues and the customers alike! |
